Girls Basketball Shooting Camp

December 27 & 28
Learn How to Develop a Simple Shooting Motion, Generate Effortless Power & Increase Your Range So You Can Be a More …CONFIDENT SHOOTER
We can’t magically make your child a great shooter in 2 days, but we can give them pointers that will significantly boost their confidence.
- Designed for girls looking to refine their shooting technique and focus on proper footwork.
- Shooting drills, shooting games, and game scenarios will be used to practice shooting off the dribble, shooting off the pass, free throws, and more.
- We aim to build athletes' confidence in their abilities and help them grow as shooters throughout the camp.
Shooting Fundamentals
The clinic focuses solely on the fundamentals of shooting and footwork required to become a great shooter. The training sessions are structured, progressive, and repetitive, and utilize the results of proven successful shooters as a basis for instruction.
- Catch and shoot (release the ball faster and with more consistency by understanding the proper techniques to the catch and shoot)
- Shooting efficiency (taking out all wasted motion in the shot leading to a quicker release and more consistency)
- Catch and square (teach players how to catch and square up, helping them establish the correct pivot foot and load their legs for their shot and an explosive 1st step)
- Creating space out of triple threat (making more efficient moves out of triple threat / creating space out of triple threat in the form of step backs and dribble moves / reading the defense out of triple threat/keys to making you hard to guard).
